Hidden Gem For Mediterranean Food?
This Mediterranean restaurant might be easy to miss from the outside, but once you walk through the doors, you’ll discover why locals are raving about it.
SaSa serves up Mediterranean food in a fast-casual setting, where you place your order at the counter and let the aromas guide your decision. Their extensive menu features all the classics: creamy hummus, smoky baba ganoush, crispy falafel, gyro wraps, tender kebabs, and flavorful rice dishes.
If you’re vegetarian, their veggie platter is a must-try—loaded with vibrant, satisfying options. By the way–I’m Vegan and I look forward to sharing with the Living North Phoenix Community more Vegan options in and around the North Phoenix area
Where's The Beef?
Blair ordered the beef kebob entree and really enjoyed it; saying the beef was perfectly cooked. There was also a good amount and the salad and pita complimented the plate quite well.
And don’t even think about skipping dessert. As the name suggests, SaSa is just as serious about their sweets. You’ll find a mouthwatering selection of homemade baklava, cookies, and other Middle Eastern treats that make it hard to choose just one. (Pro tip: don’t.)
With a 4.9-star rating on Google and over 250 reviews, it might not be a “hidden gem” anymore, but it’s definitely one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in North Phoenix. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, SaSa deserves a spot on your foodie bucket list.
So next time you’re in the area, skip the chains and give this neighborhood gem a try. Support local, eat well, and save room for dessert!
